Chabad Intown's new weekly Deuteronomy Torah Study Class
Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 7:30 to 8:30PM
928 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta , GA 30306 (across from Fellini's)

Chabad Intown Rabbi Ari Sollish's weekly torah class continues tonight.

Becoming Grounded is an eleven-part journey into the soul of the
Book of Deuteronomy, Moses' last will and testament. As we read
of the Israelites' march toward destiny, you'll discover what it
means to find your own personal "Promised Land."

Preview for This Week's portion: Re'eh

You may have heard that the Summer Olympics just wrapped up over in
Beijing. You may have also heard that the good ole' US of A scored
the most (total) medals -- 110 to be exact. Of course, that figure
is made up of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

Which takes us to our point: Much of life is divided into three
levels, Gold, Silver and Copper (close enough...).

In fact, our Tradition tells us that no less a mitzvah than
Tzedakah -- the Crown Jewel of all mitzvot -- possesses this
tri-dimensionality.

So what's the Gold, Silver and Copper of Tzedakah?
And if you competed, which "medal" would you win?
You'll have to come to this week's Torah Studies class to find out!

I look forward to seeing you Wednesday night at 7:30.
No wetsuit required...
