Bearing Witness - Holocaust Survivor Speaker Series
"To hear a witness is to become a witness oneself." - Elie Wiesel
As the events of the Holocaust vanish into history and the numbers
of survivors dwindle, there is concern that the full story of the
Holocaust will be largely forgotten, with only statistics and old
photos of mass destruction remaining. The personal, the individual,
will be lost.
In an effort to bring the unforgettable stories of Atlanta Holocaust
survivors to a wider public, The Breman is inaugurating a speaker
series to run the first Sunday of each month at 2pm.
Attendance is free with the cost of admission to the museum.
This program is open to all adults and to students 5th grade and older.
This is an increasingly rare opportunity, so come, tell your
neighbors, and bring your friends and family.
